St Kilda:The Lonely Isles – Steve Halliwell

Steve says:-

“St. Kilda: The Lonely Isles is an insight into the natural as well as a brief social history of an intriguing archipelago that most naturalists have heard of, but few have visited.”

The attached photo is an aerial shot of part of the archipelago, showing the islands of Dun in the foreground, Soay at the rear, and Hirta, the only island that was ever permanently occupied, in-between.
