February at RSPB Burton Mere Wetlands means large numbers of wildfowl species that visit us each winter. Plus raptors, waders and woodland birds galore. So, there should be plenty to see during our visit!
Meet outside the Reserve Visitors Centre for 10am.
Puddington Lane, Burton, CH64 5SF.

Bring your RSPB Membership cards, £7 entry fee for non-members.
Great facilities with Hides, Visitor Centre, Cafe, Toilets on-site.
(Hopefully the Visitor Centre and Cafe will both be open, although there have been a few staffing issues recently) – the latest news from the Reserve is that the Cafe will probably not be open, unfortunately. So, if you plan to stay for the afternoon, please bring your lunch and drinks with you!
Good paths, but may flood after heavy rain.
As a local meeting, feel free to come for just part of the day if you wish. The reserve is convenient for shorter or longer walks.
