In this talk, award-winning bird and wildlife photographer, Richard Steel, takes you on a journey through eastern Romania. We will travel into the centre of the Danube Delta, one of the largest and important wetland habitats in Europe, and then onwards to its very most north-eastern corner. An area known as the ‘last frontier’.
On our journey we will then head southwards to take in valleys and mountains and the coastal plains of the Black Sea coast. Some interesting and beautiful birds and wildlife will be encountered on our journey, together with a few interesting experiences from travelling around this far eastern part of Europe.
This illustrated presentation will take place at St Bridget’s Church Centre, Church Road, West Kirby, Wirral, CH48 7HL.
