Jeremy Bradshaw is Leader of the RSPB Wirral local group, and his illustrated presentation will feature birds seen on our doorstep.
Jeremy says:-
“I’ve been birdwatching in the Meols/Leasowe area since the 1970s. Whilst it is always nice to find a rarity, like the Melodious Warbler, I really enjoy watching my “patch” for its ‘usual’ birds, be they wintering, breeding or just passing through on migration.
It isn’t until you have watched a place regularly for many years that you begin to notice patterns of behaviour or changes to those patterns”.
The attached photograph, of a Melodious Warbler, was taken by Jeremy, in the Leasowe area.
