Looking for typical winter birds of the salt marsh and countryside.
If you need a little relief from wrapping Christmas presents and making mince pies, then come along to our Parkgate meeting on Saturday 14th December.
Meet at the Old Baths car park at 10am. (Past The Boathouse pub at the bottom of Boathouse Lane).

Congregate by the front wall as we initially scan the marsh. There should be plenty of geese, harriers and egrets.
The Wirral Way is just inland from here, with woodland and farmland birds to look out for.
We can also walk along the promenade towards Parkgate centre, scanning for waders and duck on the flashes.
Feel free to come just for the morning or all day, as you wish.
Paths generally good, but part of the Wirral Way may be a little muddy after rain.
There is a public toilet in Mostyn Square in the centre of Parkgate; and several watering holes!
Contact me with any queries.
(N.B. In the event of bad weather, please text me the day before to check that meeting is still going ahead. Hopefully it will be fine!)
